Charles E. Hicks

Charles Edward Eugene Hicks, age 61, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at his son’s home in Rose City, MI. Butch as he was known to his friends was born on February 19, 1958 in Flint, MI to Charles and Joyce (Brown) Hicks. He was well known in the area and had many friends. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, cutting wood, swimming and doing yard work. He loved his family and all his friends.

Butch is survived by his children, Kristina (Bill) Nowlin of Midland, Charles W. Hicks, and Holly Hicks both of Rose City. His sisters Martha Haslip, Simone Willet, Barb Eno, brothers Harold Hicks, and Bobby Oliver, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Billy, Bobby, and Jerry.
