Charles D. Brindley, age 84 of West Branch, passed away at his home on June 21, 2005. He had lived in West Branch for most of his life. He was a member of the VFW Post #3775, a life member of the DAV #329661, the K of C Council #2022 and St. Joseph Catholic Church, all of West Branch. Mr. Brindley is survived by his wife Irma of West Branch, sons--Robert (Brenda) Brindley and Roger (Phyllis) Brindley both of West Branch, Gerald (Judy) Brindley of Waco, TX, Jim (Lynn) Brindley of Houghton Lake and Paul (Dawn) Brindley of Commerce Twp., MI, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, his brothers, Doyle (Sharon) Brindley and Lyle (Jan) Brindley both of Saginaw, Chalmer (Lorraine) Brindley and Urban (Donna) Brindley both of West Branch and his sister, Romalee (Grant) Goodrich-Nichols of Port Huron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Coral (Hiltz) Brindley, sisters, Ruby Green, Gladys Ehinger and Louisa Walters and his brothers, Vincent and Wayne. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday June 23, 2005 from 1-9 P.M. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M. and a K of C Rosary at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday evening. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday June 24, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot will officate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph School Building Fund.
