Celine Marie Brodie

Celine Marie Brodie, age 80, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019. She was born on May 9, 1939 in Detroit to John and Clara (Antoszewski) Wittstock. Celine lived in Lupton since 1969. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch and a former Hill Township Treasurer. Celine enjoyed sitting outside her home on Rifle Lake in Shady Shores Park visiting neighbors and watching the Detroit Tigers on TV.

Celine is survived by her children, Jeff (Lisa) Brodie of White Lake, Liz (Mike) Gilligan of Lupton, and Joan Brodie Blair of Lupton; grandchildren, Matthew, Anthony, Lela, Amanda, Shianna, Scottie, Stacey and Jessa; great grandchildren, Blake, Nicholas, Carter, Ahlani, Noah, and Gavin; brothers, Ken Wittstock of Caseville and Dennis Wittstock of Sterling Heights; sister, Eleanor Wittstock of Sterling Heights; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Tim Brodie and sister in law, Diane Wittstock.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate.
