Catherine Luella Jennings

Catherine Luella Jennings of Rose City, MI, formerly of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on October 9, 2015 in the comfort of her home. She was born on August 13, 1942 to Oscar and Georgianna (Atherton) Teeples. She was a graduate of Rose City High School. She married William Jennings on September 28, 1963. Catherine was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker who enjoyed growing flowers, knitting, cooking and baking- talents that often benefited her family and friends. She devoted countless hours volunteering with PTA, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts as well as other civic organizations.

She is survived by her children: Haley (Jennings) Kern and husband Rick, William Jennings and wife Rose, Robert Jennings and wife Tara; her grandchildren: Allison Kern, Rebecca Kern, Robert Jennings and Evelyn Jennings; her brothers: Louis, Laverne and Ellis Teeples; her sisters Deda Arntz and Betty Avery. She was preceded in death by her husband William Jennings to whom she was married fifty years; her parents, Oscar and Georgiana Teeples; her granddaughter Ashleigh Kern; her brothers Lawrence, Acel, JR and Bobby Teeples and her sisters Gladys Houck, Eva Bierschbach and Dorothy Maupin.

A Graveside Service will be held on October 23, 2015 at Lane Heights Cemetery in Lupton, MI.
