Carolyn J. Anthes

Carolyn Joyce Anthes, age 84, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home in Standish, MI. Carolyn was born on November 27, 1934 in Pontiac, Michigan to Norman and Amelia (Lemon) Hulla. She has lived in Standish for 2 years previously of West Branch, MI. Carolyn loved her family. She cared for over 125 foster children through the years, some of whom she adopted. She loved each one and considered them her own. Carolyn will be remembered for her loving smile and tender heart. She enjoyed BINGO, and her many trips to the casino.

Surviving family include her children, Tiffany Anthes of St. Petersburg, FL, John Anthes of West Branch, Paul Anthes of West Branch, Donnie Anthes of Oxford, Stacy Anthes of Waterford. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Anthes, her sister Audrey and her good friends Karen (Ron) Hobby.

A memorial service for Carolyn will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 5:00 PM with visitation starting at 3:00 PM.
