Carol Elizabeth Copp

Carol Elizabeth Copp, age 76, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, at The Villa at West Branch. She was born on April 24, 1947, in Detroit, MI to Leroy and Elizabeth (Haton) Copp. She lived in St. Helen, MI for the past 20 years formerly of Detroit.

Carol was an English teacher for the Detroit School District and retired from teaching at Martin Luther King High School. She enjoyed reading and had a library of books. She also enjoyed foreign movies, cats, and gardening.

Carol is survived by her brother Allan Copp of Ira, MI and nephew Lee (Kathleen) Copp of White Lake, MI.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit.
