Carol E. Hooper

Carol E. Hooper of Tucson, Arizona, died Wednesday, August 2, 2006. Carol was born November 3, 1927 in Port Huron, Michigan to Merle and Olive (Seitz) Wheaton. She graduated from Port Huron High School in 1945 and received a two year certificate from Michigan State College in 1947. She was office manager for Rieth-Riley Construction in Battle Creek, MI and Central Paving Company in West Branch for many years. Survivors include her loving husband, Warren E. "Bud" Hooper, sons, Kevin Storjohann of Tucson, AZ, Kyle Storjohann of Holmwood, IL, stepchildren, John Hooper of Mohnton, PA, Jean Hooper of Fort Wayne, IN, Cathy (Roy) Exendine of Waucula, FL, Patti Fenske of Red Bluff, CA, Thomas Hooper and James Hooper of Battle Creek, MI, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by her parents and her brother Wallace. Funeral Services will be at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2006 with Rev. Dan Stoneback officiating. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, August 11, 2006 from 2-9 p.m.
