Carl M. Elliott

Carl M. Elliott, age 82 of West Branch, passed away November 3, 2009 at his home. Mr. Elliott had lived in West Branch since 1979, formerly of Bay City. He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in West Branch. Carl enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and bowling. He was inducted into the Ogemaw County bowling hall of fame in 2007. Carl is survived by wife, Mary Jane of West Branch, daughter, Susan (Bob) Wright of Bay City, daughter, Kathy (Preston) Stevens of Bay City, daughter, Chris (Ed) Scherf of Bay City, son, Dave (Lora) Elliott of West Branch, son, Dan (Trisha) Elliott of Bay City, sister, Delphine Ofarrell of Whittemore, sister, Evelyn Asel of Bay City, sister, Regina Mino of Bay City, and brother, Alvin Elliott of Carson City, MI. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at the Trinity Episcopal Church Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:00 am with visitation prior from 10:00 am until time of service. Rev. Philip A. Seitz will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
