Byron “Tom” Bills went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2013. He was born to Raymond and Lorna Bills January 23rd, 1951 in Wyandotte, Michigan. He married Debbie Orchard May 6th, 1972. They later divorced, but had remained close friends. Tom worked in custodial/maintenance at West Branch/Rose City Schools for many years, K-Mart, and lastly Walmart. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved his boat and snowmobile. He was a member of the West Branch Church of God. He enjoyed mowing the church’s lawn and cleaning God’s house. He took that time to talk to God. He was especially honored when asked to be an usher and a member of the church’s praise team. He is survived by his three children: Byron (Brandi) Bills of Midland, Sherrie (Eric) Perrot of Bay City, and Robert (Christy) Bills of Midland; his grandchildren: Bailey, Luke, Aubree, and Bella; his 3 brothers: Raymond (Lynn) Bills, Gary Bills, Brian Bills; four sisters: Martha Beek, Karen Courtney, Mickey Walt, and Sandra (Michael) Rowland; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Lorna Becker, his father Raymond Bills, and his sister Cathy Bills. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch from 2:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral services will be Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00AM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home. Pastor Keith Misany will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Branch Church of God.
