Bruce Henry Roberts

Bruce Henry Roberts, age, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in his home in West Branch, MI surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 22, 1950, Wyandotte, MI to Bishop and Elizabeth (Somenauer) Roberts. Bruce lived in West Branch since 2014 formerly of Dearborn, MI. 

On March 21, 2005, he married Martha Humphreys in Las Vegas, NV. 

Bruce's journey began when he graduated from Wyandotte Roosevelt High School in the Class of 1968. Shortly after, he bravely served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1971. Following his service, Bruce joined Ford Motor Company in 1972 where he diligently worked until his retirement in 2007. He was an Oldsmobile Mechanic and worked at a small stamping plant. Bruce led a remarkable life filled with passion for woodworking and working on cars. Beyond his professional achievements, Bruce cherished spending time with his family and friends. 

Bruce leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his surviving family members: his beloved wife Martha Roberts; devoted children Aimee Roberts and Ryan Roberts; stepchildren Kelly (Mike) Wozniak and Derek (Dawn) Frosinos; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews Denise (James) Gerds, Bonnie (Bob) Tucker, Crystal (Kurt) Domke, James Allen, Maddie Roberts, Jody Roberts, Walter Roberts, Jennifer Roberts, Michelle Roberts, and Jeffrey Roberts; and sisters in law Lavada and Delores.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Beverly, Brian, and Bradley. 

Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI with veteran honors.

Bruce's warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of hard work, commitment to family, and passion for craftsmanship will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched.
