Brian K. Bertossi

Brian K. Bertossi age 53 of West Branch, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Brian had lived in West Branch for most of his life. He was the owner and operator of J & P Sporting Goods in West Branch since 1993. Brian was a member of White Tails Unlimited and the Wild Turkey Federation. He loved to hunt and fish and he taught people of all ages how to hunt. Brian is survived by his wife Sally Bertossi of West Branch, children Kristi (Steve) Winter and Bradley (Melissa) Bertossi all of West Branch, and his grandchildren, Brandon, Easton, Morgan, Cori, Triniti and Taite. Also surviving are his parents, Joseph and Pat Bertossi of West Branch, his sister, Brenda (John) Bertossi-Furca of Montrose, CO., his brother, Bret (Linda) Bertossi of West Branch, his grandmother, Irma Liebzeit of West Branch and his beloved dog, Jake. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. and Friday from 3-9 p.m. On Saturday, November 20, 2010 visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church in West Branch until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate with burial following at Brookside Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
