Boyd A. Wilson

Boyd A. Wilson, age 82 of St. Helen passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Masonic Pathways in Alma due to complications from Parkinson's Disease. Mr. Wilson had lived in St. Helen since 1974, formerly of Westland. He was a past Commander of the VFW of St. Helen and a three time past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Roscommon. He was a member of the Wayne Civitan Club and Helping Hands of St. Helen. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, play and life. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife Erlyne of St. Helen, his son John (Victoria) Wilson of Sault Ste. Marie and a grandson, Nicholas. Also surviving is his brother, Chester (Diana) Wilson of St. Helen, brothers in law, Clarence "Pat" (Edith) Patterson of Pinconning and James (Karen) Patterson of Rapid City, 8 nieces, 9 nephews and several great nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Lizzie Ely Wilson, his father in law, Earl Patterson and his mother in law, Florence Patterson. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday April 1, 2005 from 2-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Compassionate Care of West Branch.
