Beverly J. Forton

Beverly J. Forton, age 84, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at The Villa at West Branch. She was born on February 1, 1934 in Ann Arbor, MI to Gerald and Ruth (Spies) Fisher. She had lived in West Branch since 1998, formerly of Prescott, MI. Beverly was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles both of West Branch. She enjoyed reading crocheting, and going to the casino.

Beverly is survived by her children, Diane Clark of West Branch, Dennis Shipley of Lupton, Debra (Len) Kent of Prescott, and Thomas (Toni) Forton Jr. of Prescott; grandchildren, David, Doug, Kristie, Kevin, Hope, T.J., Emily, Alexis, and Brayden; 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; sister, Marlene (Gary) Peck of South Carolina; and brother, Warren (Barb) Fisher of Ann Arbor. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas H. Forton Sr. in 1996.

A memorial service will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Jon Scott will officiate.
