Beverly A. Lightfoot

Beverly A. Lightfoot, age 40 of St. Helen, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI after a long battle with cancer. Bev was born on August 27, 1969 in Detroit, MI. She had lived in St. Helen since 1987, formerly of Trenton, MI. Bev was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen. She loved her sister, her pets, laughing, scrapbooking, office supplies, watching Food Network, Harry Potter, and mostly being with family. Bev is survived by father, Philip Lightfoot of Trenton, mother, Nancy Drury of St. Helen, sister, Katherine Lightfoot of St. Helen, special cousin, Kelly Gonyea of Trenton, her dogs, Brody and Farley and cat, Quinn. She is preceded in death by stepfather, Wesley Drury, and stepmother, Luella Lightfoot. Bev was our angel here on Earth. She was a beautiful soul, with a beautiful heart. She loved life and fought bravely to stay with us. We will miss her always. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 1-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen with visitation prior from 10:00 am until time of service. Rev. Rodney Morrison, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen.
