Beverly A. Bledsoe

Beverly A. Bledsoe, formerly of Lupton, MI, age 87, passed away in Edinburg, TX on August 30, 2015. She was born to Julius and Mabel (Eddy) Schmidt on July 24, 1928 in Saginaw, MI. Beverly was a nurse and began her career in 1950. She worked as a pediatric nurse in Saginaw, at Bortz Health Care in Rose City, with Dr. Whittaker in Hale, and retired after many years working with Dr. Laura Prescott in Hale and West Branch. She was a long time active member of the Lupton Friends Church, and was also active at the First Presbyterian Church in Mission, TX. Beverly was a talented and avid quilter, loved to travel, and enjoyed cooking for family and large gatherings.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Deborah Mason of Mission, TX, Cindy Biermann of Lupton, MI, and Beth Marquez of Edinburg, TX; grandchildren, Jacob (Sarah) Garceau, Josh (Amy) Garceau, Matt (Nikki) Biermann, Hyatt (Brian) Smith, Christopher (Candace) Marquez, Eddy (Sarah) Marquez, and Kevin Marquez; great grandchildren, John, Mason, Emma, Conner, Kaylee, Cora, Miriam, Avalyn, and Noel; and sister, Rachel (Zandy) Hilton of Blanchard, MI as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Murray (Merion) in 1998; sister, Suzanne Baudoux; infant brother, Walter Schmidt and great granddaughter, Nevaeh Marquez.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lupton Friends Church in Lupton, MI.
