Betty R. Hurley

Betty R. Hurley, age 89 of West Branch, passed away March 29, 2012 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Betty had lived in West Branch since 2008, formerly of Farmington Hills. She was one of the founding members of the First Presbyterian Church of Farmington. Betty is survived by her children, Patricia (Jon) VanOosten of West Branch, and John Hurley III (Jennifer) of Chesterfield Twp., grandchildren Trisha (Ben) Rizzo, Peter and Erik VanOosten and her sister Helen Clark of Redford. She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Hurley II and two brothers Russell and Robert. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Farmington. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Farmington or to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
