Betty E. Mccollum

Betty E. McCollum, age 77, of St. Helen, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Bay Regional Medical Center. She had been a resident of St. Helen since 1979, formerly of Oxford, Michigan. Mrs. McCollum was a member of the CCW and American Legion Auxiliary. She loved reading, traveling, her family, and watching the Lions and Tigers. Betty is survived by her children; Pamela (Richard) Hartwick of St. Helen, Debora (Robert) Romancky of St. Helen, and Neal (Barbara) McCollum of Clarkston, grandchildren; Kimberly (Shawn) Densmore, Marce (Greg) Ronquillo, Robert Romancky (Jessica Flicker), Jena Romancky (Michael Hodnett), Ray McCollum, and Jessica Romancky, and great-grandchildren; Christopher Sumner, Kenneth Sumner, Sara Densmore, Shelby Sumner, Troy Densmore, Dustin Romancky, Ray McCollum Jr., Luke Ronquillo, Ryan Romancky, Hunter Romancky, Molly Ronquillo. Also surviving are her sisters, Barbara Parker of Pontiac, Ginger (Gordon) Sebert of Millington, Joy (Mike) Hipes of Mayville, Jeanette Worth of Caro, Judy (Tom) Edwards of Attica, Bonnie (Rick) Haslacker of Grand Rapids, and her brothers Lionel Gotwalt of Deford, Gary (Pam) Grant of Clarkston, Edward Gotwalt of Mayville, Mickey (Connie) Gotwalt of Caro, sisters-in law; Gladys Richuisa of Hot Springs, AR, Nataliee Hess of Wynne, AR, Lois McCollum of Grand Rapids, and Sybil McCollum of Hot Springs, AR. She is preceded in death by husband, Ray (Arky) McCollum, son, Kenny Ray McCollum, brother, Ernest Gotwalt. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin from 2-9 P.M. on Tuesday, July 17, 2007, with a scripture service at 7:30 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 18, 2007 at the St. Helen Catholic Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
