Betty A. Beyerlein

Betty (Diehl) Beyerlein, age 86, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 in West Branch, MI. Betty was born November 4, 1927 to Claude and Bernadine (Winslow) Diehl in Logan Township, MI. She lived in Ogemaw County her entire life. Betty married Arnold Beyerlein on June 7, 1947. She loved working as a nurse’s aide at Tolfree Memorial Hospital and retired in January 1989. She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. Betty enjoyed caring for her family, working in the garden and flowers. Betty is survived by her children: Kathy (Bill) Curtis, Bill (Karen) Beyerlein, Diane (Allen) Philbrick, Judy (Bob) Bernard, Sandy (Randy) Buck, Bob (Karen) Beyerlein, Rhonda (John) Copeland; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister: Nancy Marsaw; sister in laws: Ella Beyerlein, Mary Lou Diehl, and Verna Bultynck. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arnold and brother John. Visitation will be at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City, MI on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will be Monday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands.
