Bert Riley

Bert Riley, age 67 of St. Helen, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at his home. Bert had lived in St. Helen since 1998, formerly of Ypsilanti. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping, hunting, fishing, and going to the casino. Bert is survived by his children, Harvey Riley (Edward Segovia) and Holly Riley both of Ypsilanti, grandson Joshua Riley and great-grandchildren, J.J. Riley and Xavier Riley. Also surviving is his father-in-law, Chester Wilson of St. Helen, sisters, Bella Hamilton and Vella Durham both of Dexter, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis A. Riley. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2012 until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Allen Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
