Bernie W. Stillwagon

Bernie W. Stillwagon, age 46, of Wirtz, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2005. He had lived in Virginia for the past 12 years, formerly of West Branch. Bernie enjoyed working as a lineman for various cable companies all over the United States and loved telling stories about his cable dog adventures. He loved football, fishing, hunting and Nascar. Children were drawn to Bernie-he loved to tease and play with them. Bernie is survived by his children, Eric and Sebastian Stillwagon and Coty Wilson all of Wirtz, VA, his better half, Donna MacBrair of Wirtz, VA, his father, Richard Stillwagon of West Branch, his brothers, Rick (Judy) Stillwagon, Jim Stillwagon all of West Branch and Randy (Sue) Stillwagon of Indian River, sisters, Dianne Miller, Deb (Dan) Turland, Shirley Stillwagon and Cyndie (Ron) Burgher all of West Branch, Donna's parents, Donald and Christine MacBrair, her sister, Monica (Robert) Norris all of Wirtz, VA, 19 nieces and nephews and 22 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Stillwagon. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Monday, November 7, 2005 from 1-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. John Scott will officate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
