Bernice V. Carreon

Bernice V. Carreon, age 68 of West Branch, passed away Wednesday June 8, 2005 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw. She had lived in Detroit for most of her life. For the past 10 years she had been a summer resident of West Branch. She was a loving mother of three daughters, Linda Jarrell, Michele Jarrell and Valerie Jenkins all of West Branch and one son, Gregory Carreon of Detroit. 7 grandchildren, James Jarrell, Bernice Kropp, Amanda and Megan Jenkins all of West Branch, Fairlena Kuzich of Redford, Tony Jarrell of Grand Haven, Heather Carreon of Detroit and 11 great-grandchildren, Alivia, Jessie, Whitney, Tony, Lindsey, Devin, Jason, Breanna, Joey, Emily and Kristen. She was preceded in death by her father Leo Skronski, her mother Lottie Ziemba and her sister Dorothy Boone. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Monday June 13, 2005 from 3-9 P.M. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday June 14, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate.
