Bernard J. Pauley

Bernard J. Pauley, age 76, of West Branch, passed away Monday, February 18, 2008 at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City. Mr. Pauley had lived in West Branch since 1979, formerly of Flint. He retired from GM-Chevy Plant #4 in 1979. He was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church of Skidway Lake. Bernard is survived by his wife, Evelyn Pauley of West Branch, his son, Michael (Jill) Pauley of Swartz Creek, grandchildren, Michael (Suzanne) Pauley, Jason (Melissa) Benway, Kari Benway and a great-granddaughter, Grace Benway. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Barbara Pauley and Deborah Coombs, his brother, Richard Pauley and his parents, Alexander and Gertrude Pauley. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. On Thursday, Mr. Pauley will lie in state at St. Stephens Catholic Church of Skidway Lake beginning at 10:00 a.m.until the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Alexander Boruta OFM will officiate. Burial will take place at St.Joseph Cemetery in West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.
