Bernadette Gladys Wieler, born on January 15, 1943, in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in St. Helen, Michigan at the age of 82. Her spirit will forever be cherished by those who knew her, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication. She lived in St. Helen since 2008 previously from Maryland.
On March 22, 1982, she married Larry Wieler in Florida.
For over two decades, Bernadette served as a bus driver for Baltimore County, Maryland, where her warm smile and reassuring presence made her a cherished figure among the many passengers who traveled with her. In her retirement, she continued to bring joy and adventure to others as a tour bus driver in Florida, sharing her passion for exploration with countless travelers. As a devoted member of New Hope Church in St. Helen, her faith and commitment to community were evident in every aspect of her life.
Bernadette found joy in crocheting, knitting, and crafting beautiful baby blankets that symbolized her love for family. She poured herself into puzzle books and various arts and crafts projects.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Wieler, her children, Charles Marville, Paul Marville, Wayne Marville, Bobby (Julie) Irons, and April (David) Noyce, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and brother-in-law Jerry Wieler.
She is preceded in death by her parents Fredrick and Virginia (Ruebeck) Watson Jr.
A memorial visitation will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen on Sunday, May 11, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
