Barbara L. Boddy

Barbara L. Boddy, age 70 of West Branch, passed away at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City on Monday, October 30, 2006. She was born and raised in West Branch moving to Southfield to work in 1955, returning in 1976 to be closer to her family. She was a member of the Communication Workers of America. She enjoyed taking care of her family and gardening. Barbara is survived by her children, Bobbi (William) White of Ortonville and John LaGorio of Muskegon, grandchildren, Dwayne White and Ted White and a great-granddaughter, Brittney White. Also surviving are her sisters, Retta (Al) Weck of Leroy, Leone (Earl) Brick of West Branch and Joany Andujar of Harper Woods and her brothers, Karle(Elaine) Boddy and Norman (Liz) Boddy both of West Branch. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dennis White, her parents Charles and Elva Boddy, her brother, Glen Boddy and sister, Genevieve Cody. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2006 until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate.
