Barbara Jean Dombrowski

Barbara Jean Dombrowski, age 76, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 in Houghton Lake, MI. Barbara had lived in St. Helen since 1979, formerly from Bay City, MI. She was born to Frank and Frieda (Grapentine) Jezak on April 20, 1937 in Bay City, MI. She enjoyed baking, bingo, gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family and granddaughters. Barbara is survived by her daughter; Diane (Fredrick) Nielsen of Houghton Lake, MI, her granddaughters; Wendy Nielsen and Shauni Nielsen, her brothers; Kerry (Mary Kay) Jezak of Bay City, MI, Jim (Linda) Jezak of Saginaw, MI, Mark (Amy) Jezak of Florida, her sister, Kathy (Mike) Quellman of Midland, MI and her brother in law, David Dombrowski of Bay City, MI. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Dombrowski, her parents, Frank and Frieda Jezak, and her sisters, Sue and Bevie. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
