Barbara Ann Reinke, 61, of Mount Clemens, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, in Bortz Health Care-Henry Ford Hospice in Warren. She was born Jan. 4, 1947, in Detroit. Mrs. Reinke retired in 1997 after 16 years of employment as the county clerk for the Farm Home Administration. She married David L. Reinke on June 14, 1968, in St. Raymond Catholic Church, Detroit. The couple settled in Detroit, moved in 1981 to Lupton and to their present address in 2007. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens and a former member of Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and gardening. Mrs. Reinke is survived by her husband of 39 years, David; children, Jennifer (Matthew) Rushlau of Kalamazoo, John (Caroline) Reinke of North Carolina, David Reinke Jr. of New Baltimore and Cassandra Reinke attending Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Kristina, Jessica, Megan and Aiden; and sisters, Mary Ann (Larry) Kettler of Warren and Judith (Ray) Bilicki of New Baltimore. She was predeceased by her parents, William F. and Delores (Winkel) Thomas. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market St., Mount Clemens, with the Rev. T.J. Maloney officiating. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens. Additional visitation is 11-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Additional visitation will be held Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 3-8p.m. at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, 109 E. Houghton Ave., West Branch. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 402 W. Peters Rd., West Branch, with Father Miro D. Wiese OFM officiating. She will lie in state on Friday at the church from 11-11:30. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, West Branch.
