Arthur Allen Wyatt, age 69, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 in West Branch, MI surrounded by his family. He was born on May 13, 1950 in Pontiac to Arthur Brown and Fair (Farmer) Wyatt. Arthur lived in West Branch since 1983, formerly of Pontiac. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam where he was wounded. He received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service and Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Sharpshooter Badge during his time of service. Art married Christine Tiernan on February 14, 1970 in Pontiac. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, casino trips and watching the Lions. Spending time with his family was something Arthur enjoyed most of all.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Christine Wyatt of West Branch; children, Arthur Wyatt II of West Branch, Steve (Karen) Wyatt of Grand Ledge and Nikki Costa of Marshall; grandchildren, Keely (Holly) March, Zachery Wyatt, Anna (Austin) Wyatt, Brandon Wyatt, Tyler Wyatt, Alex Costa and Evan Costa; and brother, Frank (Jackie) Wyatt of Houghton Lake. He is preceded in death by his mother and sisters, Lucy Walker and Barb Adkins.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service with Veteran Honors will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fort Custer Recreation Area, 5163 Fort Custer Drive, Augusta, MI 49012.
