Anthony T. Franchino

November 11, 1914 — October 7, 2003

Mr. Franchino passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in West Branch since 1975, formerly of Dryden and Rochester. He was a member of the Wildwood Square Dance Club and the Farm Bureau. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, ice skating, playing cards and was very mechanically gifted. He graduated from Wakefield High School, Class of 1933, and had just attended his 70th class reunion in July! Mr. Franchino is survived by his wife Lorraine of West Branch, children--Peter (Vera) Franchino and Anita (William) Bartman both of West Branch, grandchildren--Toni, Paige, Brent, Nichole and Rhett, 3 step grandchildren, Linda, Ramon and April, 4 great-grandchildren, 6 step great-grandchildren and brothers, Richard Franchino of Lansing and Frank (Adeline) Franchino of Charlevoix. He was preceded in death by a sister in law, Viola Franchino. Visitation for Mr. Franchino will be at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Saturday October 11, 2003 from 1-3 P.M. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Dan Stoneback officiating. Burial will be at Hill Crest Cemetery in Bessemer, MI. Memorial Contributions may be made to Mid-Michigan Visiting Nurses Association or to Hospice of Helping Hands.
