Anthony A. Zacheretti

Anthony A. Zacheretti, age 91, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014. He was born on April 19, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan to Guisseppe and Cleopatra Zacheretti. Anthony was a Plant Committee man in the Automotive Industry. Formally of Caro, MI, Anthony has lived in West Branch since 2007 where he has enjoyed golfing, hunting, family, and helping others. He had dedicated his life to the U.A.W., was the Post Commander for the American Legion in Caseville and Caro. Anthony is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty; children: Barbara Zacheretti of Waterford, Cheryl (Richard) Zurla of Clarkston, and Anthony J. (Lynn) Zacheretti of River Falls, WI; grandchildren: Brent, Jason, Jennifer, Andrea, and Michael; and great-grandchildren: Madilyn, McKenzie, Rylan, Caiden, and Niklas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Johnny, Elio, and Guido. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will take place on Monday, September 1, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
