Andrew Gerald Joye

Andrew Gerald Joye, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at his home in Clinton Township, MI. He lived in Clinton Township for the past 10 years formerly of West Branch, MI.

Andy was born on August 12, 1966 in Royal Oak, MI to Gerald Joye and Rose Sappington.

He graduated from Standish Sterling High School in 1984 and joined the United States Marine Corps. He worked for Henry Sappington Machine & Tool in the oil fields and was currently employed with Product & Tooling Technologies, Inc. in Fraser, MI.

Andy was a prankster and was always making everyone laugh. He was the jack of all trades and enjoyed carpentry, robotics, and spending his time with his family. He was a dedicated father to his special needs son.

Andy is survived by his parents, Rose Sappington of West Branch and Gerald Joye of Clinton Township; ex-wife and best friend, Nadine Joye of Clinton Township, MI; son, Matthew Joye of Clinton Township; stepchildren, Jessa and Kyle; sisters, Bridget Freese of West Branch, Michelle (Matt) Arbour of West Branch, and JoAnne Joye of West Branch; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
