Andrea Marie Stamper

Andrea Marie Stamper, age 47, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 in St. Helen with her family by her side. She was born on March 20, 1973 in Detroit to Ole and Anna (Caruso) Stamper. Andrea lived in St. Helen for the past 20 years, formerly of St. Clair Shores. She was a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church and was the president of the UAW Local 1819 for over 1 year as well as union rep for many years. Andrea worked at Lear Corporation in Roscommon for 17 years. She attended Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores and graduated in 1991. She did volunteer work, benefit dinners and parties for co-workers. Andrea enjoyed swimming, camping, being outdoors and spending time with her kids and grandchildren.

Andrea is survived by her parents, Ole and Anna Stamper of St. Helen; children, Tammie Jordan, Selena Smith, Sierra Stamper and Jaden Stamper; grandchildren, Alexis, Dixie-Jo, Piper and Isabella; siblings, James (Debbie) Stamper, Mark (Kim) Stamper, Terry Randall, Sandra Stamper, Doug (Anita) Woodside, Leonard (Paulette) Woodside and James (Jackie) Woodside; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Woodside.

A private family visitation will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St .Helen. A private Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Helen Catholic Church.
