Alvin F. Shutz

Mr. Shutz passed away at Iosco County Medical Care Facility in Tawas City. He had previously lived in Alger and Detroit. Mr. Shutz is survived by his wife Ann Andrews Shutz of Kalkaska, children--Sharon (Carl) Clark and Sandra (Virgil) Linn both of Burton, Alvin Jr. (Lori) Shutz of Snover, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his sister in law, Darlene (George) Fillion, brothers in law, George (Adrian) Franklin and Elmer (Mary) Franklin. Also surviving are his stepchildren--Bud and Carol Lasert and Fred and Cathy Lasert. Visitation will begin at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Thursday May 8, 2003 from 5-9 P.M. Friday from 12-9 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Burial will follow at Alger Cemetery, Alger, MI. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Iosco County Medical Care Facility, Alzheimers Unit.
