Alma L. Teeples

Alma L. Teeples passed away Thursday April 2, 2009 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City, she was 93 years old. Alma had been a resident of Rose City all of her life. Alma was a very hard worker and loved her family. She enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She belonged to the Rebecca’s Lodge and the Mary Workers Quilt Club. Alma also walked the Mackinaw Bridge for 25 consecutive years to celebrate Labor Day. Alma is survived by 4 children Bonnie Ahrens of Oxnard, CA, Edward (Sandra)Teeples, Dale (Jeanne)Teeples, and Nicholas (Dorothy) Teeples all of Rose City. Ten Grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward and twelve brothers and sister. Per Alma’s wishes a cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place. Memorial Contributions can either go to the Rose City River Walk Association towards a bench in memory of Alma Teeples or can be sent to Bortz Health Care 517 W. Page Street Rose City, Mi 48654.
