Alice M. Tomes

Alice M. Tomes, age 79, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Hilltop Manor, Roscommon. Alice was born to Herbert and Helen Hansen July 28, 1928 in Roscommon. Alice was a resident of St. Helen since 1996, previously residing in Mancelona. She was a member of the Roscommon American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving her are 2 sons, James and Edward Skagerberg of Roscommon; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Virginia Minatre of California and Linda Ayers of Montana; 3 brothers, Max and Herbert Hansen of California and Francis Hansen of Oklahoma. Visitation for Alice will begin Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 2:00P.M. to 9:00P.M. at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen. Funeral services will be on Monday at 11:00A.M. with Pastor Michael Heacock officiating.
