Alice C. Cornelius

Alice C. Cornelius age 77, of West Branch died Monday March 24th, 2008 at her home. She was born on November 16, 1930 in West Branch to Clarence and Beatrice (Matthews) Winter. Alice married Albert H. Cornelius on February 14, 1995 in West Branch. She is survived by her husband Albert of West Branch; stepchildren Constance Cornelius of Bay City, Albert (Bonita) Cornelius of Grand Rapids, Crystal Cornelius of Alabama and Ann Cornelius of California. Alice is also survived by a brother Ben (Yvonne) Winter of West Branch, an aunt, Violet Nelson of West Branch: 2 neices and 2 nephews; Pam (Dave) Walker, Tim (Mary) Winter, Benjamin Winter and Julie (Randy) Rau all of West Branch and several great nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her previous husbands Clifford Green and Harold Brown. Alice was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post #106, and V.F.W. Post #3775. Alice was an avid bowler and was employed at the Ogemaw Hills Hotel from 1948 to 1992. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6PM to 9PM and on Wednesday from 12PM to 9PM with the Scripture Service at 8PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, West Branch. The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday at 11 AM from St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
