Alfred Oram

Alfred Oram, age 90, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at The Villa in West Branch. He was born on January 21, 1929 in Edwardsville, PA to John and Matilda (Gorham) Oram. Al lived in Alger since 1976, formerly of Warren. On May 18, 1986 he married Jeanne Runyon in West Branch. Al served in the United States 82nd Airborne Army. He enjoyed people, animals, gardening, golfing, helping students with their college, and going for rides.

Al is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne Oram of Alger; son, Jack Welsh of Utica; sister, Karen (Jack) Lazarchic of Kenton, OH; brothers, Frank (Jan) Terry of Lima, OH and Howard (Lori) Terry of Utica, OH; angel, Renay Charchan of Pinconning; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service with military honors will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Chaplin Mary Morse will officiate.
