Alexander P. Sapp, age 14 of Lupton passed away suddenly Monday, December 28, 2009. Alex had lived in the Rose City-Lupton area for all of his life. He was a freshman at Ogemaw Heights High School where he played basketball and baseball. He loved to fish and hunt and he enjoyed four wheeling and snowmobiling. Alex is survived by his parents, Brian and Jodi Sapp of Lupton, brothers, Zaxhery Sapp and Jordan Sapp, his sister, Savannah Sapp all of Lupton, grandparents, Terry Andrews of Gladwin, Janet Sapp of West Branch and George and Darlene Chinavare of Monroe, great-grandparents, Jim and Fern Campbell of New Boston, Harold and Sherry Andrews of St. Helen and Gary and Cyress Henson of Romulus and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Andrews and Lawrence Sapp and his uncle Dale Sapp. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 5:00 p.m. Rev. Matthew Smith of Lupton Friends Church will officiate.
