Alan “Al” Richard Stockton, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Wellspring Lutheran Service in Fairview, MI. He had lived in Mio, MI for the past 12 years, formerly of West Branch, MI. Al was born to Levi and Grace (Smith) Stockton in Mikado, MI on July 10, 1931. He owned and operated his own business in Livonia, MI as a mason contractor. Al enjoyed hunting and NASCAR.
Al is survived by his spouse, Betty Green of Mio, MI, his children: Diane (George) Toccalino of Seminole, FL and Alana (James) Pardington of Westland, MI; grandchildren: Tony, Jeff, Steven, Melissa, Katie, Alan, and Mary, and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Heather; brothers and sisters, Lee, Louise, Hilda, Jenny, Wendel, Virgil, Mary Lou, and Eunice.
Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City, MI will begin on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Rose City, MI at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Twin Lakes Cemetery in Lincoln, MI. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate.
