Adam Oliver Jr.

Adam Oliver Jr., age 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He was born to Adam and Margaret (Kartes) Oliver Sr. in West Branch, MI on April 20, 1924. Adam has lived in West Branch his entire life. He married Geraldine Curtis in West Branch on May 12, 1951. He was a member at the Edwards Community Church and enjoyed hunting, hauling dirt, bulldozing, gardening, and carpenter and masonry work. Adam was the jack of all trades and known as “Thor” to his brother, Max. He was also known as Jr. to others in the community.

Adam is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Geraldine Oliver of West Branch, MI; children, Nancy (Victor) Fisher, Ed Oliver, and Dan (Connie) Oliver all of West Branch, MI, Kim (Randy) Mier of Kawkawlin, MI, and Brad (Barbra) Oliver and Scott (Trudy) Oliver both of Rose City, MI; 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jerry Ehinger.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will then follow at Edwards Township Cemetery. Pastor Jon Scott will officiate.
