A J LARGENT, age 85, of West Branch, Michigan, formerly of Rochester, Michigan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 3rd, 2006, in West Branch, Michigan. He was a retired G.M. employee, an Army veteran of WWII and retired from the Michigan National Guard. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch. He was preceded in death by Lucy, his wife of 59 years, in 2001, and by his son John, a victim of the Viet Nam war, in 1970. Survivors include three daughters, Anita (Bruce) Johnson of Trinity, Florida, Vickie (Robert) Smokoski of Lake Orion, Michigan, and Cinda (Charles) Beninati of Henderson, Colorado, and a son, Nathan (Betty) of Columbus, Georgia; his brothers, Jack of Hale, Michigan and Willard of Fairview Michigan; sisters Zelda of Ogdon, Utah and Wanda of Canon City, Colorado; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2006 from 3-9PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The funeral will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 11:00AM at the Funeral Home in West Branch. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
