William J. Zoli

Mr. Zoli, age 69, passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had been a resident of St. Helen for the past 22 years, formerly of Southgate. He was a service officer for the American Legion Post #416 and a member of the VFW #4159. He was a board member of the Northwest Michigan Human Services Agency, the St. Helen Snowpackers, and a past Richfield Township Trustee. He enjoyed hunting, model trains, snowmobiling and a golf and was a member of the Mens Golf League "DeCarlos" at Birch Point Golf Course in St. Helen. He was a retired railroad conductor for Conrail and was currently a realtor for Century 21 in Houghton Lake. Mr. Zoli is survived by his wife, Suzanne of St. Helen, children--Lori (Jeff) McCormack of New Baltimore, Lisa (David) Dombrowski of Sterling Heights, Bill (Brigette) Zoli of Onsted, Colleen Zoli of Atlanta, GA, Laura (Bob) Main of Leonard, Tracey (Wally) Shepherd of Harrison and Jim (Lety) Alexander of Redford. 10 grandchildren--Adam, Paige, Alexis, Kelsey, Josh, Jim, Rachel, Sarah, Nicole and Jason. Also surviving are his brothers, Jim (Carol) Zoli of New Baltimore and Jerry Zoli of New Baltimore, a sister-Rosemary Pehlmutler of Colorado, a brother in law, Steve (Sherry) Niedowicz of Prudenville, his mother in law, Irene Niedowicz of St. Helen and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Clara. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will be held from 2-9 P.M. on Thursday April 29, 2004. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Fr. Richard Seifferly will officate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Richfield Township Library or to ARK (Association for the Rescue of Kritters) both of St. Helen.
