Mildred Ann Sharrow

Mildred Ann Sharrow, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Barton Woods in Freeland, MI. She was born on December 2, 1934, in Flint, MI to Clarence and Caroline (Schaefer) Bragg. Mildred lived in Saginaw since 2002 formerly of White Cloud.

Mildred was a member of the St. Dominic Catholic Church Parrish and volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital Gift Shop both in Saginaw. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Mildred is survived by her children Mark (Jeanette) Sharrow of Australia, Steve (Kathy) Sharrow of Venice, FL, Frank E. (Shawn) Sharrow III of Venice, FL, Kathy (Brad) Shilling of Saginaw, and Tracy (Steve) Neilson of Williamsburg, VA; grandchildren Meagan, Nathan, Melanie, Melissa, Nicole, Hope, Miles, Derrick, Kelly, and Aaron Jr.; 8 great grandchildren; sister Elaine (Tom) Coha of Flint; brothers Leonard (Helen) Bragg of West Branch and Dennis Bragg of Florida; sisters in law Mary Bragg and Rosella Bragg both of West Branch; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank E. Sharrow Jr., daughter Nancy Mitchell, son James Sharrow, and siblings Geraldine Kelsey, Kenny Bragg, Harold Bragg, Raymond Bragg, and Lois Corba.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 3:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Branch.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Dominic Catholic Church in Saginaw or Cardinal Hospice.
