Marjorie Ellen Goethe

Marjorie Ellen (Knapp) Goethe, 82, of Alger, MI, entered into eternal peace on July 21, 2015.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00am at the Forest Lake Club House in Alger, MI. Pastor Lonnie Severance of Heartland Hospice will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Steuernol & McLaren of West Branch.

Marjorie (Marge) was born in Monroe, MI on July 18th, 1933. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1951. Marge was married to Gerald (Skip) Clayton Goethe on December 13th, 1952; they were married 62 years.

Marge retired from Amendt Corporation.

Marge will be forever remembered by her spouse: Gerald; brothers: Forrest Knapp and Carl (Bonnie) Knapp; children: Ginny (Dennis) Marietta and David (Lee) Goethe; grandchildren: Dan (Sarah) Marietta, Jill (Andrew) Raymond, Chad Goethe, and Michael (Heather) Goethe; great grandchildren: Lyla Raymond and Kylie Goethe among countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know her.

She will be welcomed at Heaven's Gates by her parents, Raymond and Elsie (Rauch) Knapp, Walt and Norma (Knapp) Ladley, and Bonnie Knapp.
