Lois I. Bedtelyon

Lois I. Bedtelyon, age 92 passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Lois was born December 18, 1917, she was the 13th child of Hiram J. and Cora (Mathews) Coon. Lois and Bill Bedtelyon were married in 1938 in West Branch. She was a long time member of Churchill United Methodist Church, where she had many jobs. She was an L.P.N. for over 30 years at Tolfree Hospital. Lois is survived by son, William (Judy) Bedtelyon of West Branch, grandchildren, Bruce (Monica) Bedtelyon of Midland, Kim (Michael) Montijo of Charlotte, North Carolina, great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Michael, Alexis, great-great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Matthew and sister, Betty Claypool of Gladwin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill of 51 years and 7 brothers and 7 sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral in West Branch will begin Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 2-9 pm. The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Rev. Cindy Gibbs will officiate. Burial will follow at Selkirk Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Churchill United Methodist Church or the family suggests to give flowers to someone you love.
