Lawrence Ray Knight

Lawrence Ray Knight, age 60, known affectionately as Larry, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023 at his home in Alger, MI. He was born on March 19, 1963, in Miami, FL to Glen and Nora (Tschappatt) Knight. Throughout his life, Larry was known for his kindness, and his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him. He lived in Alger since 2017 formerly of Las Vegas, NV.

Larry's professional life was centered in Las Vegas, where he served as a prep cook for Club Fortune and later at Terrible Casino where he worked security and as a prep cook.

Larry's interests were simple and centered around his family. He delighted in spending time with his loved ones, particularly when watching his grandchildren swim in the pool. These moments brought him immense joy and created memories that his family will always hold dear.

Larry was a beloved husband to Diana Knight and a father to Kimmy Knight, Jessica Knight, Alex Partlo, Cy (Dominic) Partlo-Culhane, and Emmerson (Iesha) Partlo. He was a proud grandfather to AJ, Kyle, Aaleia, Heaven, Ty, Cinnamon, Emerson Jr., Phillip, Emma, Emily, and Dominic. Larry was a loving son to his mother, Nora Noble, and a cherished brother to David (Nancy) Knight and his sisters, Michelle and Sue.

He was predeceased by his father, Glen, and his brother, Mike.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
