David Francis Smagacz

David Francis Smagacz, age 59, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in St. Helen, MI. David has lived in St. Helen since 2006, formerly of Sterling Heights, MI. He was born to Aloysius and Emily (Stodolik) Smagacz on March 27, 1954 in Detroit, MI. David enjoyed boating, golfing, warm weather, fishing and hunting.
David is survived by his son, Ryan Smagacz of St. Helen, MI; daughter, Ashley Smagacz of Sterling Heights, MI; Ex-Wife and Friend, Susan Smagacz of Sterling Heights, MI; mother, Emily Smagacz of Sterling Heights, MI; brother, Richard (Paula) Smagacz of St. Helen, MI; sister, Pat (Kevin) Dupre of Troy, MI; nieces and nephews; Kelley, Jason, Christopher and Jonathan. He is preceded in death by his father, Aloysius Smagacz and his nephew, Jordan Dupre.
Visitation at Steuernol McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, MI will begin Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Roger Green will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
