Curtis Raymond Fay, age 44, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 in East Jordan, MI. He had recently moved to Charlevoix for work, formerly of St. Helen, MI. Curtis was born to Charles and Cherilyn (Simon) Fay in Flint, MI on May 24, 1971. He graduated from Roscommon High School in 1990 and worked various jobs. He enjoyed life and was a free spirit. Curtis enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and drinking beer with friends. He was always making people laugh and was willing to help anyone who needed it.
Curtis is survived by his daughter, Amanda Baumia of Independence, MO; grandson, Chandler William Pyrtle of Independence, MO; father, Charles Fay of St. Helen, MI; siblings, Tim Fay of Ocean Spring, MS, Tracey Fay of St. Helen, MI, Charles Fay of St. Helen, MI; and Dale Fay of Detroit, MI; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his mom, Cherilyn Fay and grandparents.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, MI will begin on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the family to be used for a disabled young children’s hunting fund.
