Bill D. Bentley

Bill D. Bentley, age 58, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at his home. He resided in Lupton since 1984, formerly of Davison. Bill was a member of the Church of Nazarene, the D.A.V., enjoyed fishing, farming, loved his grandchildren and was a fixer-upper. Surviving family members include his wife Lois, daughter Anna (Pat Rose) Dawes of Flint, son Bill Bentley, Jr. of Flint, daughter Jenifer (Ted) Scott of Linwood, daughter Mary (Gordon Erckman) Symonds of Walled Lake, son Arthur (Shannon) Bentley of Petoskey and daughter Edith (Michael Kujawa) Ludlow of Lupton; 9 grandchildren; brother Earnest (Bert) Bentley of South Branch, sister Barbara (Vaughn) Ballard of Davison, sister Janet (John) Filkins of Paris, Texas, brother John Bentley of Flint, sister Linda (Ron) Herman of Indiana, brother Jim (Mary) Bentley of Texas, sister Gladys (John) Myers of Lupton and brother Mike Bentley of Flint. Preceding Bill in death were his parents, 1 brother and granddaughter Tabitha Lynn Erckman. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Friday, March 3, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Sharon Hughes officiating.
